How he ended up making a bet with an enemy, that was the biggest question.
Or perhaps it wasn't, since he had been bored.
He should have predicted his loss (because the other was obviously good at these things), but he wasn't sure he minded. Though it was a big deal, right? Losing a big bet to a pervert.
Although it wasn't that big of a bet, not really. It was just "what country would win this specific battle" and none of them had participated in the fight, because then it wouldn't be very fair. It had somehow ended up an obvious outcome, if only for the fact that the side Tejirof had bet on won. It just wasn't the obvious outcome to Vaiz until the battle was over. Then it hit him that if Tejirof predicted someone to win, that was most likely how it would end up. Almost as if he had something to do with it, but at least he didn't in this one. Not when Tejirof was leaning against a tree not far away (had done so all the time) looking over the destruction caused by the battle down below.
"Now," Tejirof said in a slow voice, looking over at Vaiz with one of those smiles so typical of him. "what was it again? My prize?"
Vaiz blew some bubbles at the sky, absently keeping his eyes on a group of people celebrating in the wreckage. "You know already," he said, and he could hear Tejirof chuckle. "Hmmm, but I was expecting you to say it yourself," he insisted. Vaiz glanced over, and saw Tejirof's fingers rub against the bark of the tree. "I did before."
"Are you that hesitant to say it?" Tejirof asked, and Vaiz let the bubble he had been sitting on pop, dropping down on the ground in front of the other. "For some reason," he replied slowly, "I don't want to give you that satisfaction." Another chuckle. "Who says it will make me satisfied?" Vaiz's expression didn't change when he leaned up close to Tejirof. "Your face," he explained, simply. Tejirof laughed briefly in amusement. Though the mercenary's expression didn't change often, Vaiz was at least a little confident in being able to read it these days. They had known each other for a while now. "So I won't."
But he did lose their bet, he didn't get away from that part. He shifted his weight from heels to toes and back, glancing down as he considered. He should have known he would lose - because who had ever won a bet against Tejirof? He was a tactican who knew how to read others without batting an eyelash, and Vaiz was not. He looked up again when a hand on his face tilted his head up a bit, and his calm eyes met Tejirof's smiling ones. "Are you embarrassed?" asked the blond, and Vaiz shook his head. "No. Why?" Tejirof didn't answer, but there was a twinkle in his eyes - as if he knew something Vaiz didn't (which he probably did) - as he hummed, and he dropped his hand back down. His fingertips brushing against his cheek made Vaiz's skin tingle, and he tilted his head a little to the side, since he didn't really see the reason behind it. He could practically hear Tejirof's smile widen, and decided to make sure the mercenary didn't utter any of his hole jokes then.
So he kissed him, which apparently was not something Tejirof had predicted. The mild surprise on his face was enough evidence of that. But the bet had involved holes, so if he twisted it a little bit, that was fine. It wasn't like it was outright settled that he would give the other a blowjob, Tejirof's tongue in his mouth was still something of his in one of his 'holes' and Tejirof couldn't deny that.
And he seemed surprisingly pleased with only this, so it wasn't like he was going to object.
